EFCC CHARGE AIR FORCE OVER N21 BILLION FRAUD


According to a report by SaharaReporters, the EFCC has filed the suit bordering on money laundering against Amosu alongside Air Vice-Marshal Jacob Bola Adigun and Air Commodore Gbadebo Owodunni Olugbenga.  

Former Chief of Air Staff, Adesola AmosuIt was also reported that the anti-graft agency accused the defendants of converting N21 billion from the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) around March 5, 2014, in Lagos State as well as converted and concealed the funds.
The agency claimed that the defendants reasonably ought to have known, that the concealed and converted funds form part of the proceeds of an unlawful act, to wit: stealing.
Prosecuting counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo Isiokuwa said 42 witnesses will testify against the defendants in the case when the trial begins.
